Historic Tour

French Historic Circuit Championship

The Championnat de France Historique des Circuits, more commonly known as the “Historic Tour”, is a name that has been engraved in the minds of fans of historic circuit racing for almost a decade.

It's a historic championship which, year after year, evolves and improves. Since 2023, following on from the GT/Tourism and Single-Seater/Protos, the Historic Tour has been enriched by two new VHC French Championship titles. The GT/Tourisme now crowns two categories of competitors racing pre- and post-1990 cars.
Another major new feature is the French Historic Endurance Championship, based on the Historic Tour's 200 km events. It offers competitors a new perspective, with crewed races and the same objective: to offer a championship in which as many different cars as possible can shine.

 The Championship comprises 4 categories:

Single-seaters/Protos: Trophée F3 & FRenault Classic, Challenge Formula Ford Historic, Trophée Formule Ford Kent, Protos Historic & Classic

GT/Touring Pre 1990: Lotus Trophy, Maxi 1300 Series, Maxi 2L Classic, Racing Over 2L

GT/Touring Post 1990: GT Classic, Youngtimers GTI Cup, Roadster Pro Cup

French Historic Endurance Championship: 200 km Historic Tour

Races take place over 20 to 30 minutes depending on the category, and 90 minutes for the endurance race.
