Maxi 1300 Séries

THE SPIRIT OF THE MAXI 1300 SERIES

The rules allow a reasonable preparation by accepting only the "competition" options provided by the manufacturer (ex groups 1, 2, 3, 4) in order to improve the performances while keeping the historical character of the cars. The MAXI 1300 SERIES Trophy is an ideal formula to start in VHC without a big budget, but it also allows experienced drivers to fight for the places of honor at the wheel of very powerful cars.

It is common to see more than 25 cars on the starting grid, including the iconic Mini Cooper S, Alpine A110 or Simca Rallye 2, but also rarer cars such as Honda S800 and Civic, Matra Jet, CG, Ginetta G15, Mini Marcos, Jem and other British rarities.

The atmosphere that reigns within this group of enthusiasts contributes greatly to the success of the Trophy. Mutual aid, good humour and a competitive spirit make the meetings pleasant and the races always exciting!

The MAXI 1300 SERIES Trophy is reserved for sedans and GT cars of less than 1300 cm3 produced before December 31st 1980. Other cars of similar categories and/or periods presenting a particular interest may be admitted individually on request.
