UPDATE ON THE FRENCH CHAMPIONSHIP

On the evening of this Historic Tour d'Albi, the second of the season's five events, the situation at the top of the French Historic Circuit Championship is much clearer. In the single-seater/rotor category, Antoine ROBERT, well known to the Historic Tour for having won the title in 2017, and Matthieu MIDY are now the sole leaders. They have four wins in four races in Formula Renault Classic and Formula Ford Kent respectively.

In the Pre 90s GT/Touring category, only Philippe GANDINI has achieved a full house in the Maxi 1300 Series. In Post 90 GT/Touring, Julien PIAU is also alone at the top with as many wins as races in the Youngtimers GTI Cup.

Finally, in the French Historic Endurance Championship, the MARTIN / VALLERY-MASSON duo dominated the category with two wins from two races.

HE SAID

Eric HELARY, second in Race 1 of the Roadster Pro Cup: "It was a great race, a great battle with Laurent on track, it's a pleasure to be here.
